25-27 weeks pregnant

Laying in bed writing this one 🙂

it’s about 11:30 pm and I can’t type with home row keys, so it’s a challenge. I am 27 weeks today. or Third Trimester. Some say it’s 25-28 weeks. WHATEVER! I wanted to share what’s going on in my life, with baby and of course..show ya a little of what I have been into (food wise) 

STRAWBERRIES have been my jam for about 2 weeks now. I will eat them as my carb or as dessert! I want them plain, dipped in vi-yogurt or with chocolate! 

January is our busy season so we haven’t gotten to spend what we call “skip n casey” days here lately.. and it BLOWS! yes, we only work about max 30 hrs a week.. however. We get in from work around 10 and don’t settle in until midnight or so. go to bed and since pregnancy… We have been getting up around 8:30-10 am sometimes. Before fitness, This was our regimen also. during fitness. I always went to bed around 9-10 and woke at 5-6am.  by the time we wake and sit in bed, read facebook feed and chat for a min.. 30 min has passed. He has workouts at 12 so he leaves at noon and doesn’t get home until 10. I usually work while he is gone so when we are around each other.. it’s quality time. We work 7 days a week right now. ( some days If I am tired, I will only work 4 hours or so) I am telling you this to explain the Godiva Strawberries pic. Godiva IS my FAVORITE! Skip called me last wed and said.. hey, I cancelled my last 2 hours. meet me at Wendys ( cuz at the time, I was really into fries and burger patties) and we can spend time together in bubble bath tonight. I was headed home from a Challenge Party ( for project 10 challenge weightloss) so i was PUMPED.  My ritual is to take a QUICK shower and then finish almost every night in a bath with magnesium bubble stuff. Right when I was getting out, I yelled.. BRING THE STRAWBERRIES! and he surprises me with THESE!!! gosh, I could just be fine with the smell they are so delicious! Is you know Skip. He knows the way to my heart is some time together with food!

imageThis next photo is me showing you what I have been into with cravings.. bought these here tater tots from trader Joes and had them with some low fat ground turkey. This week, I haven’t wanted anything “fried”.. weird how at one point of my pregnancy ( when the baby is BUILDING himeself) I crave shit food and then when it’s over and it’s time for him to “fatten up” I just want good food. So weird.

I hardly EVER want real deal candy.. this craving was around 25 weeks. one night, I just wanted chocolate candy.. so i had a few pieces. ( still logged them in fitesspal you KNOW) it was over after that. I have found that these pregnancy cravings.. I give in.. When I try and deny them.. It doesn’t feel right. I am only up about 20 lbs right now  ( which is basically all baby) bc I show you this food.. and the other 80-90% is pretty good normal healthy food.

 

 

 

 

ahh edamame! I can get carried away with it! can’t believe it packs such a nutritious punch. it’s fat carbs and protein all in one. not sure why i wanted it.. it was good though.

talk to me baby! this was a Sunday am bfast! sourdough bread french toast with egg whites and eggs on side.. sugar free syrup and STRAWBERRIES! even had a glass of whole milk ( i know, it;s bad for you, clogs your lymphatic system etc etc.. had a intuitive friend mention to TRY it just to see bc he sensed something being off with my absorption and mood for baby. SO, I listened.

The second meal was Vans waffle, trader joes no nitrate turkey bacon and the rest is self explanatory.

another little yum yum has been chocolate covered bananas! these are from trader joes. I would have them as a carb source with my protein. hehe.

 This was from 3 Sundays ago. my dad and bro surprised us with christmas presents and took us out to Texas Roadhouse.. That’s Deddy and Skip shelling peanuts. (with their beards)

I know this pic looks disgusting. I was wanting some chicken salad and not the canned chicken. I baked my chicken, shredded it then mixed in greek yog, grapes, pecans, cayenne and put it on a whole wheat low carb tortilla from trader joes.. It was good and hit the spot!

was on the treadmill walking the incline and noticed my boobs underarm fat.. Most girls say.. how can I get rid of this? SO, I made a pic ( bc I have never had this before) and ladies.. it comes from bodyfat! I have obviously lost a LOT of muscle, estrogen went up, my cals did too, got comfy eating out and pulled back from heavy lifting along with eating more bad food. so there ya have it. (yes, It it because I am pregnant) HOWEVER, fat cells are fat cells and facts are facts so.. I’m sorry? for the bad news. On the flip side.. I WILL get getting bigger boobs once baby number 2 is out bc I am really digging these new cannons!

Had an appt to get to and no food packed so I stopped at waffle house and got what was on my Caseyshipp.com members only FAST FOOD GUIDE! steak, grits and egg whites cooked in spray.

 

imageWe have been getting GRADY stuff in the mail from our sweet awesome thoughtful clients! this was Skip wanting me to get use to having him in the weight room with Jeezy on.. Donut didn’t like or want to stay in the seat. what a BIA BIA

 

That is all I have for tonight. I will be posting a blog with my fitnesspal meals/workouts. It would have been to long for this one. 

I will also let you know how my glucose test went at the Dr. woooo some crazy stuff!
