How to Take Progress Photos

Progress Makes Perfect

Take Before and After Photos & Measurements

A camera has the uncanny ability to enhance our beauty and flaws at the exact same time. It also freezes moments in time, so this is very important for documenting progress. Our eyes naturally adjust to what we see in the mirror daily. Family, friends, co-workers will all notice your changes before you do! Sharing photos and measurements with me is required. However, I cannot not be responsible for progress you do not see if we have nothing to compare it to.

When sending progress pictures, put beginning pic on left and current pic on right in side by side collage, same pose, same lighting, full body each time.

Not used to posing? Not a problem. Here are some examples of killer progress pics:

Flex biceps and quads

Show off those thighs

Tip toes and poke out that booty

Keep arms close to the body

Showcase mid-section

Hips and shoulders forward

Progress Pic Pro Tips:

  • Take photos before starting the program
  • Take photos under the same guidelines: same lighting, same clothes, same poses, same day at the same time
  • Weigh and measure before eating and after you poop
  • For full body, set up the camera facing you, make sure you’re in the frame and set timer
  • Set a reminder in your phone to take pics every 4 weeks
  • Make sure the photos are clear and bright (Lots of good lighting)
  • Use a collage maker to create side-by-side “Before and After” pics
  • No nudes!

Progress photos will be the primary source to gauge progress, then body fat-to-weight ratio and measurements.

NO fluff, NO bs, no strict fad diets
