Some of you know that I am spiritual. I practice meditation daily and study. I want to share with you a few things. You have probably heard of “good vibrations” yes Marky Mark sings about it hahah. In the spiritual dimension, negative energy is lower vibration because it is denser and heavier. Positive energy is higher vibration because it is finer and lighter. All negative energy makes you feel trapped and heavy. All positive energy makes you feel free and light. That is the difference between joy and grief, peace and stress, clarity and frustration. Vibration is energy and thoughts are energy.
The advantages of a hi-vibe life are immense Physical healing is an obvious one.– disease cannot exist in high vibration tissue.
When you raise your vibration you begin to resonate at a higher frequency and things become possible that just aren’t possible at the other end. Raising your vibration has the benefit of increasing your awareness and your connection with everything around you.
How do you get Low vibrations? Eating processed or “dead” foods generally . If it comes in a packet or can, it probably won’t do much for you. Entrapped emotions will also hold vibration down, particularly anxiety, depression, phobias and addictions. There are several methods for releasing these and allowing vibration to rise.
ABOUT ME- I went through a very tough time a few years back. I experienced things growing up that most young people should never have to go through. I was addicted to drugs, alcohol and had bad relationships. I was “self-destructive”. I believe one has to go through certain things in order to be a better person. About 4 years ago I was actually homeless at one point, on anxiety and depression medication with bad health. You know how they say, at the lowest points in life come the greatest blessings? Well “they” were right. I experienced a spiritual enlightenment. It was a WACKY time… Pretty much everything I had learned growing up and who I THOUGHT I was had flip flopped. I had questions!. During this enlightenment period, I started to care about what I put in my body. I wanted to start exercising and get healthy. What did I have to lose? I had lost everything else but that’s what it takes sometimes (especially a hard headed Taurus ). Today I still continue to grow spiritually. Self improvement and spiritual growth is something I need to do on a daily basis.
Since health and well being are the first steps for higher vibrations, I wanted to share some high vibration foods and tips. If you increase your positive vibrations, you truly can have or do anything you conceive.
Purify your body. Toxins lower your energy and your vibration, so if you can, remove or limit cigarettes, alcohol, animal products, refined foods, pesticides, and smog/pollution from your life. Instead, eat fresh fruits and vegetables, lean meats, healthy fats, whole grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, and try to buy organic wherever possible. Live where the air is fresh and people aren’t blowing smoke at you.
Take a social inventory. I read in a book once that whichever 6 people you spend the most time with you are most likely to emulate. So who are you hanging around with? Who do you spend the most time with? What are they like? Are they honest, hard working, highly aware people who are peaceful, loving, kind and compassionate? Or are they pessimistic, argumentative, greedy, selfish louts who lie, cheat, and steal their way through life? If you’re around people who vibrate at a low frequency, you’ll be hard pressed to keep your energy high.
Meditate. Meditation will raise your vibration. When you quiet your mind it gives Source an opportunity to reach you. All you have to do is listen. You don’t have to chant and sit in a funny position that will cause your feet to fall asleep. Just sit in a chair or lie in your bed, take some deep breaths, do a visual meditation or just quiet your mind. Start asking questions and see if you hear any answers.
Practice compassion. When you genuinely and compassionately help others you automatically raise your vibration.
Journal. Instead of writing your to do list, journal ways to explore your personal growth. Self-discovery is awesome! It definitely raises your vibration. When you know that you are the only one in the world who will read your journal (it is password protected) then you feel safe to explore your own psyche. I’ve learned a lot about myself through journaling and I really recommend it. Once you get going you might even be able to channel messages from your higher self. And the best part is you have a written record that you can actually search through when you want to find something you wrote years ago (and that beats looking through a handwritten diary or journal!). Sometimes If I have negative thoughts I write them and throw away.
